Roland DG also offers the LPX series of 3D laser scanners for reverse engineering and to capture data during the design process. The LPX series can also be used for applications include scanning hand-rendered clay models to create 3D data and also producing 3D data from existing parts. Together, LPX scanners and MDX milling machines create a complete solution to take modeling projects from the input stage through completion.
