Hamamatsu, Japan, June 3, 2011— Roland DG Corporation today announced that its VersaCAMM VS series of metallic inkjet printer/cutters has been named 2011's "Best Wide-Format Print & Cut Device" by the European Digital Press (EDP) Association.

Available in 64-, 54-, 42- and 30-inch models, VersaCAMM VS wide-format inkjet printer/cutters produce premium CMYK, white and metallic graphics, on demand, for signs, banners, POP, labels, apparel decoration, vehicle graphics and wraps of all kinds. Featuring Roland Print&Cut technology, the VersaCAMM VS series prints graphics, and then automatically contour cuts them into virtually any shape in one seamless workflow. Included is VersaWorks RIP software, featuring the Roland Metallic Color System Library for easy, accurate spot color matching of more than 500 metallic colors. Additionally, VersaWorks includes the Roland Metallic Texture System Library, providing more than 70 patterns and textures that are easy to apply to metallic colors for even greater visual impact.
