Color calibration is part of the offset printing process. Stabilizing the printer colors requires a lot of time and generates volumes of waste paper. By contrast, the VersaUV series provides stable colors from the very first round of printing, saving time and media.
In offset printing, drying is needed after printing and before post-processing. The VersaUV series uses the UV-LED method to solidify the ink immediately after printing, eliminating the need for extra drying time.
In on-demand printing, customers want accurate estimates of the costs per piece. Forecasting your ink consumption can be very difficult, however. Roland VersaWorks RIP software automatically estimates the ink usage for each graphic so you can accurately monitor your print costs.
VersaWorks also estimates the print time for each job, allowing you to set and meet deadlines.
With Roland VersaWorks, you can connect one computer to up to four Roland devices for simultaneous RIP processing and output. Having central control of all your Roland devices makes production more efficient. Each printer is equipped to handle two job queues, supporting both Mac and Windows OS systems.
VersaWorks includes over 50 patterns pre-registered into the Roland Texture System Library. Unique designs expressed with gloss ink allow you to add a premium and distinctive look to your graphics quickly and easily. Simply select a texture or pattern from the exclusive swatch library in Adobe® Illustrator®* and apply it to your graphics.
