Roland Digital Group Iberia Opens New Madrid Offices to Accommodate Growth

On June 28, 2017, Roland Digital Group Iberia, Roland DG’s sales and marketing subsidiary in Spain, opened its new premises in Alcorcón, Madrid. The impressive 600m2 building represents the next step in its growth strategy.
Attending the opening ceremony were Hidenori Fujioka, President of Roland DG Corporation, Masashi Mizukami, the Japanese Ambassador to Spain, and the company’s board of directors. More than a hundred special guests including clients, dealers and industry press also attended the event to see the new facilities and learn about the company’s upcoming projects.
President Hidenori Fujioka kicked off the ceremony with an opening speech, highlighting the significance of the event and the importance of the Iberian market in Europe. He pointed out that the new offices and exciting new projects were made possible thanks to the great accomplishments of Roland Digital Group Iberia.
Masashi Mizukami, the Japanese Ambassador to Spain, wished for the company’s continuing successful future with the opening of the new premises in Madrid and hopes the company’s cutting-edge technology will reach all of the country. He pointed out the 150th anniversary of diplomacy between Spain and Japan which will be celebrated next year. The celebration will include Roland DG and other Japanese companies based in Spain. “The purpose is to introduce our culture and latest technologies to the Spanish people, especially those products designed to improve the environment and our health.”
Eli Keersmaekers, Executive Officer and President of Global Sales & Marketing for Roland DG described Madrid as an example of a versatile and open-minded city where creativity and passion meet, “These are the same concepts we pursue in Roland DG. Since its foundation, our goal is not only to offer the best products and services, but also to satisfy our clients. It is the passion to provide the final user with the best experience that motivates us and which we can carry out thanks to the hard work and creativity of our professionals.”
Xavier Armengou, General Manager of Roland Digital Group Iberia, said, “Roland DG's new quarters in Madrid are just one of the many initiatives of the company to strengthen the close relationships with our clients, dealers and partner network. Beginning last April, we began consolidating the growth of the company, speeding up our approach to new markets and broadening the coverage of our services by offering full solutions tailored to the needs of every one of our customers.”
“The decision to locate our new premises in Madrid,” he continued, “was taken after carefully considering that the capital city has all public administration and decision-making offices of both national and international companies. Our new premises will become a new point of reference where our clients, dealers, and partners can realize better technical service, in addition to the current support they already enjoy from our official dealers spread around the capital.”
A new space focused on knowledge and innovation
The new offices in Madrid are going to become a nerve center of knowledge thanks to the live product demonstrations and training courses directed to professionals from various industries, including retail, visual communications, product customization, textile decoration, 3D printing and even the dental and medical markets. The offices are equipped with a Roland DG Creative Center which showcases numerous applications to provide visitors with new and fresh ideas for their businesses.
The offices also include a dedicated knowledge space, the renowned Roland DG Academy, which offers workshops, courses and information to enable professionals from any industry to share their experiences and discover new horizons. The company offers programs where owners of Roland DG equipment can develop new techniques and skills, create new applications and build a more profitable business.
New develops in the digital printing industry
According to Xavier Armengou, Roland DG wants to grow together with its clients.
