Roland DG Connect Designer Software Now Available from Roland DG

Hamamatsu, Japan, June 20, 2025 – Roland DG Corporation, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and printer/cutters worldwide, has announced the availability its new software application, Roland DG Connect Designer, enabling Roland DG printer users to easily design print-ready graphics optimized for output on Roland DG devices.

As part of Roland DG Connect, a set of software tools that empower users’ businesses and optimize every step of their workflow with Roland DG printers, the Designer application offers two key functions. The first is easy-to-use design creation for novice users such as in-store workers or small business owners who may be unfamiliar with professional-level applications. In addition to basic design capabilities, Roland DG Connect Designer includes a library of images, shapes, fonts, and illustrations so anyone can create easily.

A second function is for generating automated print settings. Previously, it was necessary to set detailed print settings in the dedicated VersaWorks 7 RIP software running the printer. With Roland DG Connect Designer, however, necessary print settings are automatically produced during the design, and printing begins immediately once the job is sent to the printer, allowing a faster, more streamlined workflow.
