Roland DG’s Thailand Manufacturing Subsidiary Begins Solar Power Operation

Hamamatsu, Japan, December 19, 2025 – Roland DG Corporation (CEO, Representative Director: Kohei Tanabe, Headquarters: Hamamatsu, Japan), a global manufacturer and distributor of advertising and signage inkjet printers, is pleased to announce that its manufacturing subsidiary, Roland Digital Group (Thailand) Ltd. (“DGT”), has installed a solar power system at its factory and commenced power generation after obtaining approval from local authorities.

The new solar power system was installed on the rooftop of DGT’s Factory 1 and has been in operation since July 2025. The system has a generation capacity of 500 KWp, supplying approximately 30% of DGT’s electricity consumption. This initiative is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 249 tons annually.

Hiroaki Ema, President of DGT, commented, “The introduction of solar power reflects Roland DG Group’s strong commitment to adopting clean and renewable energy. We are proud to contribute to Thailand’s national policy of increasing renewable energy usage and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.”
