At the XXIII International Festival Operetta at Kaunas Castle 2024, held on July 5 and 6, Roland DG and local joint venture DG DIMENSE set up a booth on the first day, when Madame Butterfly was performed, to sell original merchandise. These items, featuring Japanese designs inspired by the opera, were created in-house and received great acclaim from the Lithuanian attendees.

Roland DG, in collaboration with our local joint venture DG DIMENSE, sponsored the XXIII International Festival Operetta at Kaunas Castle 2024 held in Kaunas, Lithuania on July 5 and 6, 2024.

Recently, Roland DG has identified SaaS (Software as a Service) business as a new growth area. As part of this initiative, we launched Roland DG Assemble, a cloud-based service aimed at improving production sites for small and medium-sized manufacturers in December 2023. We are currently offering it primarily to manufacturers in Hamamatsu.

Roland DG is sponsoring the XXIII International Festival Operetta to be held on July 5 and 6, 2024 at Kaunas Castle in Lithuania. We interviewed Maestro Hirofumi Yoshida, who will be conducting Puccini’s opera “Madame Butterfly” at the festival, to hear his thoughts about the performance.

A project team has been formed at Roland DG to reduce waste from the company cafeteria by using our products to produce original cups, which are now available for purchase by employees.

Roland DG participated in a special event at ECOPA Stadium in Fukuroi, Shizuoka, on May 19, during the top-tier Japanese professional soccer league’s MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE 15th Sec. match between Jubilo Iwata and Urawa Red Diamonds, by providing a booth where fans could experience making custom keychains.

Roland DG sponsored Maker Faire Kyoto 2024, held on April 27-28 at the Keihanna Open Innovation Center (KICK) in Kizugawa City/Seika Town, Kyoto. At our booth, visitors experienced the joy of creation using our latest desktop flatbed UV printer.

In collaboration with the Digital Fabrication Association, Roland DG exhibited at the 15th EDIX (Educational IT Solutions Expo) Tokyo, held from May 8 to 10, 2024, at Tokyo Big Sight. The new VersaSTUDIO BD-8 desktop flatbed UV printer was showcased, highlighting its applications in educational settings.

New employees deepened their understanding of the company’s structure and operations during a training period held in April which involved a two-day practical training focused on the Digital Printing and DGSHAPE businesses.

Ambassador Tetsu Ozaki from the Embassy of Japan in Lithuania visited the Roland DG head office on March 19, 2024. Roland DG established the joint venture DG DIMENSE in Lithuania in October 2023. As our employees became the first business expatriates in the country, the ambassador visited us to express gratitude.

Roland DG exhibited at JAPAN SHOP 2024, the 53th International Exhibition for Shop Systems and Fixturing hosted by Nikkei Inc. at Tokyo Big Sight from March 12 to 15, 2024.

On March 10, 2024, Roland DG sponsored the “The 2nd Nijiiro Yosakoi Festival” that was held around Hamamatsu Station and organized by the Nijiiro Yosakoi Executive Committee.
