During the training period in April, the new employees of 2023 learned about the company’s structure and business on a daily basis. In this blog post, we would like to introduce the practical training on our Digital Printing and DGSHAPE businesses.

Roland DG showcased its new product lineup, which was announced earlier this year, at three recent events held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas: the Latin America DGXPRESS Launch Event, the TrueVIS Premiere Reception, and the ISA International Sign Expo 2023.

Roland DG participated in the “Council for Acrylic Goods Recycling Project” established to promote the reuse of acrylic resin products. The council held its first recycling awareness event on March 30, 2023.

Roland DG held its orientation ceremony on April 3, 2023, to welcome 12 new employees to the company.

Roland DG has released a video that conveys our vision for customer services and support. We interviewed the creators and a service engineer who were involved in the video production to ask them about their thoughts and behind-the-scenes stories of making the video.

Following participation in last year’s inaugural program, Roland DG employees joined the Hamamatsu Innovation Challenge 2022, a program organized by local Hamamatsu companies aimed at developing new business ideas, and won the Excellence Award.

In Palafolls, north of Barcelona, Spain, Sergio Vergel Escribano (pictured above) is using Roland DG’s desktop devices to grow his bike customization business. He shared his business success story and insights into the customizing process.

Roland DG showcased the latest models of the TrueVIS inkjet series, which were launched on January 26, at JAPAN SHOP 2023, the 52nd International Exhibition for Shop Systems and Fixturing, held at Tokyo Big Sight from February 28 to March 3, 2023. Roland DG unveiled resin, UV, and eco-solvent inkjet printers. Members of the Japan sales department as well as those involved in product development participated daily as staff.

At the Impressions.cat print shop in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain, customers can order a variety of customized items using their own photos, printed with Roland DG’s UV printer.

We delivered our first TrueVIS AP-640 resin printer, which was released on January 26, 2023, to Nishida Paint company, a valued customer and dealer who has been a long-time supporter of Roland DG. We had the opportunity to speak with the company’s Senior Managing Director Nishida (center in photo), Division Manager Horikawa (left in photo), and the printer operator and get their feedback.

The Shizuoka Blue Revs (formerly known as Yamaha Júbilo), which is a team playing in Japan Rugby League One, recently kicked off its second season. Their management company is using Roland DG’s TrueVIS SG3-540 wide-format printer/cutter to customize uniforms and produce original merchandise for the team and their fans.
