Notification of personnel and organizational changes

Roland DG Corporation (President: Hidenori Fujioka, Headquarters: Hamamatsu, Japan) has announced the following personnel and organizational changes, effective September 1, 2018

Organizational Changes
As announced in the Revision of Medium-Term Business Plan (FY2016 to FY2020) released on August 8, 2018, we are reorganizing our current six main business areas (Multi-Use Printing, Retail, Textiles, Signage, 3D Digital Fabrication, and Dental) into three business divisions (Digital Printing, COTO, DGSHAPE). While the 3D Digital Fabrication and Dental business areas which have been operated by our subsidiary, DGSHAPE Corporation, will be referred to as the DGSHAPE business, we will also introduce a divisional organizational structure with the other two divisions. The DP (Digital Printing) Business Division will aim to cultivate a new on-demand printing market in the industrial, textile and signage printing areas, and the COTO Business Division will pursue the value of customer experience for individuals by expanding personalized printing and shaping services that go beyond the existing Retail field. We will accelerate the launch of the new businesses by setting up the functions of market development, product development, and product marketing in each division, and enhancing the sense of business ownership. In line with this, we will abolish the R&D Headquarters and reorganize the Global Sales & Marketing Headquarters as follows.

Establish Digital Marketing and Key Account Sales Department.

Transfer product marketing function from Global Service & Marketing Division to DP Business Division.

Abolish North Asia Sales Department.

Upgrade Japan Sales Unit to Japan Sales Department.

Global Technical Service Department renamed as Service Business Promotion Department.
